Rain, Facials & Basketball

Bleh, bleh, bleh.

The weather has been rainy, cloudy, just plain dreary. Can we get a Spring?!! Ugh. Wanting a day or 2 to bake out in the sun and soak up my vitamin D.

Well...until the sun decides to grace us with it's radiance...this happened.
Basketball games & a facial for the boyfriend. Good times!! Lol. Say cheese honey! :)

On a positive note, I got ALOT done on my Blog which is SUPER DUPER exciting. Taking a rest now to meditate. I have enjoyed Pandora's- meditation channels and YouTube's- "The Honest Guys".

Tomorrow we will go visit Grace Church here in Houston on I 45. I have not ever been but my boyfriend has and he thinks I will enjoy it. The story is- we have (& still are) Team Lakewood Church. We love the Osteen's and the inspirational powerful messages. That place is incredible and you definitely leave feeling better than before you got there.

I HATE to whine or complain but there is a tiny (well kinda big) factor that I dislike about Lakewood. Their worship team is PHENOMENAL. Out of this world talent. Extremely blessed with their vocal gift. However, my (personal) style is WORSHIP music. That very intimate, bring you to your knees, hands in the air, tears flowing, all powerful worship music. For me it brings me to this special place, a very close, comforting place with God. I love it. Lakewood does some worship but its seems like they gear more towards the get up and dance, scream and shout, clap your hands, Praise style of worship. I like some of this, key word being 'some', not most. Lakewood strongly believes "Praise precedes the victory." I agree, we should honor and praise God. But everyone is different and has their own personal walk/relationship with Him. I also like to sing and was blessed with a pretty decent voice I believe. ;) To me there is nothing like those beautiful elegant worship songs. I will be curious to see how Grace's worship team is tomorrow. Hoping for a few more of the worship songs I adore. :)

 Tomorrow!

Have a fab evening,

Annie
