Coffee & our love/hate relationship...
I came across this article on www.wellnessmama.com and it caught my eye. Like this writer, I LOVE coffee but unfortunately my body has a different opinion. Glad to see I am not the only person who can hardly drink it. It tastes wonderful but afterwards, (sometimes even after only a few sips) I feel nauseous, dizzy, bloated...just sick. I will throw it up half the time. It's always baffled me. ??? It's not the caffeine because I can handle soft drinks, tea and energy drinks with no problem. I think I am sensitive to dairy possibly. Whatever the case I am willing and determined to find a way to enjoy one of my favorite beverages!!

●●●This is how she recommends preparing your coffee for us sensitive folks! I never would have guessed unsalted butter. Interesting how this particular blend can actually give MORE energy without the jittery effects. Sign me up please!●●●

(I'm going to print it out and put it on the refrigerator.)
Hey...sounds like it's worth a try! I will follow up with my review in another blog post. Coming soon....

Magnesium Deficiency
●●●I find some good stuff on wellnessmama.com. This article was most DEFINITELY worth blogging about. Magnesium has {for the longest} been a key mineral I have been very interested in.●●●

●●●THE SCIENCE BEHIND MAGNESIUM. KNOW YOUR FACTS!!●●●
●●●Choosing the right Magnesium supplement is essential!! It is very critical or you might as well do absolutely nothing. The wrong Magnesium supplement is equivalent to taking a mere sugar pill. Don't waste your time or precious $$$!●●●

I should have chosen to be a Graphic Designer...
Don't get me wrong, I have a HUGE passion to #write. But I love, love, love ❤ to #create, #design, and #illustrate. It is so much FUN!
People that get to do stuff like this for a living & actually get paid to have fun, are so lucky!!! I would love ❤ to go to work everyday. Lol.
The best part to me is that the options are just endless! Insert a "quote" here, play with the layouts, tweak the color, adjust the contrast, enhance the exposure, add a text box, create a fade effect, etc. You can absolutely go crazy with it & fully express your hearts desire-in any way you want!
#Design and #collages make perfect #marketing tools as well!

Wedding fun in Galveston!
Saturday morning, May 23, 2015--- I woke up to the sight of the sun shining bright, a pure blue sky, the sound of crashing waves hitting the shore & the smell of fresh salt in the air. Hmm...I would say that is a PERFECT combination to attend a beautiful wedding in Galveston, Tx :)
The wedding we attended was for my boyfriend's cousin, Candace Bailey, (the stunning young lady in the pic above) She is now Mrs. Jeremy Mason. Congratulations!
The ceremony was held at The Sacred Heart Church in Galveston, Tx. The couple said "I do" in front of many family and friends at 2pm. Absolutely breathtaking church.
Afterwards, we went straight to 'The San Luis Resort' located on Galveston's Seawall for the pre-reception. Just a little mingling, live band and cocktails. Then the formal reception began at 5pm. Held in a beautiful ballroom we had a full sit down dinner and champagne. Lots of music, dancing, toasts, speeches, tears and laughs. It was very nicely put together.
Winning moment of the night. Bride and her dad put together a dance routine and had everyone on their feet! It was really cute.
My boyfriend, Roderick and I taking a moment for a few fun selfies!
I'm liking my lipstick in this pic. Hmmm note to self....
I love this pic. :) Uncle Rod and his sweet baby nephew, Seven Anthony. *Roderick's mom is the pretty lady in the black dress behind them.
This pic is priceless. Mia, my boyfriend's sister, (who also happened to be the bride's 'matron of honor') had to stop and put everything aside to just be... 'Mommy'. A moment to care for who matters the absolute most: her precious, yet exhausted, 13 month old son, Seven. Sweet boy just wanted to cuddle with his Mama. (I don't know... but Mia may have been catching her a quick nap here too...) Lol. It's ok, your secret is safe with me girlfriend. ;)
Needless to say, we had a blast and my feet definitely hurt at the end of the night. Shhh...don't tell, but I slept most of the day today catching up on my Zzzz's! Like til 3pm. Eeeek! Well, it's about that time to wrap it up for today. I hope everyone has a wonderful, safe Memorial Day weekend. BBQ is on deck for me tomorrow. Yum, can't wait! :)

Could there be a Spiritual relation to coins?? Let's research...

If you have read any of my previous posts you know I just spent the weekend in Galveston giving my mom's place a major clean out & makeover. It was amazing how many coins we found. In very bizarre unlikely places. I cleaned out her closet only to find a blanket of coins on the floor. Ok, you may say, "Oh...they fell out of pockets or something like that." But this WAS NOT the case. In fact her closet floor had very recently been clear, not a thing on it. Like seriously, a month ago. As I picked up random knick knacks on Saturday I was astounded at the # of coins. Just a few too many to say "coincidence". Before even finding the coins I had once heard that if you start noticing alot of coins around your house in bizarre places it could be a spiritual sign.

Ok...so move past the closet, this mysterious coin pattern continued. I'm talking about finding pennies, dimes, nickels etc on top of doorways, in drawers that were completely empty otherwise, in shoes, I could go on. We would even mop, come back in room less than 30 min later to find coins scattered on the freshly mopped & dried floor. Very bizarre.

This here fits ME like a glove. I have a lot of occurrences with the #'s in my Birthday's month and day: Feb 4th- 02/04.
I have actually previously written on this phenomenon alone. Also...I have a weird electrical current within myself. (If that's what you call it, lol) I can put out light bulbs like no one else. Brand new? No problem! If you let me get my hands on it, you will very soon need a new lightbulb. I have caused clocks to stop, and defected other electrical appliances. It's really not funny but it's become a running joke in my family. My mom steers me away from anything I could possibly break!

First let me make clear, I am no expert & there is no way I can call this 100% FACT. I just found it very interesting. ❤
In conclusion, if any of these occurrences could 'possibly' mean Angels are around us providing love, protection and warnings...we really can't complain. I will thank them for their presence. Or it can even be our loved ones that have passed on. That brings my mom a lot of peace. Choose to believe! There is still GOOD in this world. Embrace it here on Earth or even if it sent down to you from our Heavenly Father. ❤
If anyone else has had an experience(s) similar to these, please share! I would love to hear. ☺
P.S. I'm going to go ahead and believe & claim that finding quarters means you will win the Mega Million Lottery.

Mom's place revamp- Day 2!
FIRST:
Leave it to my savy Uncle Roger to have an eye for design. He recently moved into a new place 2 months ago. Well... he found an old kinda beat up chandelier in his garage. Brings it over, spray paints it, and what do you know, it goes just perfect in my mom's dining. It gives the area an absolutely lovely unique charm. Love!!! ❤

Bad lighting here, but you get the idea. ;)

NEXT:
Before pic (featuring Scooby)
Let me introduce you to this gorgeous heater from the 1900's that has never worked and been a total eye sore. For months we have tried to take it down. With wiring problems etc, it just wasn't happening. My mom eventually surrendered and hung a sheet over it. It is ugly and my mom despises it. Plus we live in Texas. Who needs a heater anyways? ;)

AFTER:
So...once again...leave it to my Uncle. We happened to have these 2 cheap Ross decor pieces that fit exactly PERFECT over the ugly heater. What an awesome WIN!! ❤

A final pic of todays blood sweat and tears!

Let me tell you, this project may have been one of the hardest, most physically (and mentally) challenges I have probably ever faced, but the outcome is SO rewarding. We also worked A LOT on my mom's bedroom and bath. Boy was that ever so fun. <insert sarcasm> Those post pics will be coming soon. I pray....
I will also add a HUGE bit of info that we are very proud of. Besides the chandelier find & hand me down paint, NOTHING else was new, purchased or borrowed. Nothing. Everything was already my mom's, we just tweaked and arranged it all with a creative twist.

I will conclude with a sappy moment. Lol. I may not be able to walk tomorrow but it's ALL worth it to make my mom happy. Take a moment to look outside yourself and help someone else. It's the most rewarding feeling of all. LOVE WINS ❤ I am extremely blessed and grateful God gave me her! I love you Mom! XOXO
